Loss is hard on providers, too.

We know medical providers typically get little to no training on how to help patients - or themselves - through perinatal loss. We're so sorry you're going through this without a safety net. But please know that you are so appreciated.

The kindness and empathy you show this family will truly be remembered for a lifetime, and your compassionate care can give them a significant head start on their difficult road to healing. As loss parents, we know from experience: the support healthcare workers provide is truly priceless.

But don't forget to take care of yourself, too. And thank you for everything.
