WE FIGHT FOR YOU.

At PUSH, we’re diverse families and allies, committed to amplifying voices that are too often silenced.

PUSHING FOR BIRTH EQUITY.

BIPOC birthing people face significant disparities in prenatal care due to systemic racism and bias. And they’re not alone. LGBTQ+ families, single parents, other ethnic and religious minorities, and birthing people of all shapes, sizes, colors, and abilities also struggle to be heard.

OUR PROMISE.

No matter who you are, we’ll fight for you and your baby, boldly and unapologetically.

We commit to using our platform to amplify and uplift marginalized voices, to dismantle structural racism, and to speak truth to power. Because none of us will be safe until the most vulnerable among us are safe. #UnitedWePush

A MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.

Quote

At PUSH, we believe in empowering all people who can become pregnant, regardless of the person's background or the outcome of their pregnancy. As such, we recognize that reproductive justice (including but not limited to equitable abortion access) is inseparable from our work. After all, empowered pregnancy begins with choosing to be pregnant.

Preventing stillbirth means overcoming the same hurdles that plague the fight to improve reproductive health care and maternal/child health overall, namely: racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination in the medical establishment, anti-science ideology, and the purposeful minimizing of patients' lived experiences. There is no room in this work for the demonization of pregnant people for their bodies, health, or choices. Bodily autonomy and medical self-advocacy go hand in hand, which is why we are proud to walk alongside people in their parenting decisions and journeys towards an empowered future.

Too often, families' voices have been silenced due to misinformation and misunderstanding. We are here to speak out for those who cannot, to support and educate, and to advocate for live births for the families who want them. We stand in solidarity with all families and respect their choices without judgment.
