Raise Funds for the Rainbow Clinic with a #RainbowClinicRun

Updated: Sep 28, 2023

Help bring about a new era of prenatal care as we improve the experience of parents pregnant again after loss & then push for ALL parents to receive the same state of the art service & support.

While subsequent children can never replace their sibling, we know how harrowing the road to a "rainbow baby" can be & we have been thrilled to be able to partner with Mt. Sinai to make sure bereaved parents receive the best care available. Besides funding the Rainbow Clinic at Mt. Sinai, we have provided their staff & several other locations with training that strives to ensure that families feel supported, heard & are able to bring home their baby safely.

How Can You Help?

By coordinating a run (or walk) in your community or with your family, which can be held in memory of a baby gone too soon, you are making sure these families have the care we ALL wish we could have had. It is our hope that other clinics will continue to pop up around the country (like Dr. Steve Rad's Ari Rubin Clinic - named after a PUSH baby gone too soon - now open in LA) & that this will be the model for the standard of care for EVERY pregnancy. We strongly believe we shouldn't have to lose a child in order to get the best care available!

So please consider joining us in our movement to reform PAL care by running or walking with us in your town on 9/23/23 to fund our remaining 2023 commitment to Mt. Sinai and help spread the Rainbow Clinic model nationwide!

How to Host Your Own Run (or Walk)

Step 1) Make a Fundraiser Page

Create your own team in memory of your baby or a baby gone too soon. Not a loss parent but care about improving prenatal care? You can create a team too!

You can choose to decorate for your run with rainbow balloons & streamers, set up a beverage stand or keep it casual & just get walking!

Step 2) Get Your Gear

Check out the new designs in our shop! Choose from the Run for Rainbows line or the customizable Running for Change in memory of design (you can add a baby name).

Or wear another PUSH/Stillcounts shirt or rainbow inspired outfit! You can go crazy with colorful accessories, tutus, wigs, capes, makeup etc. if you're feeling extra!

Step 3) Celebrate on Social

Remember to join our LIVE on Instagram (look out for us/@pushpregnancy at 2:30 PM EST), plus take photos or videos, & share to your favorite social media platforms with #rainbowclinicrun! You can complete your run/walk ANYTIME, ANYWHERE that's convenient for you, between 9/23/23 and 11/1/23. Be sure to tag @pushpregnancy so we can share to our social media & in our blog post recapping the colorful rainbow clinic funding fun!

Some optional ideas for your posts:

  • Push an empty stroller or carry an empty infant carrier in honor of a baby gone too soon (as we did for the Big PUSH 2022) - they are the reason many of us are here & deserve to be remembered as we demand change in their memory

  • Tag your friends and family, and ask them to post in honor of your baby, too

  • Highlight an appalling stillbirth fact to raise awareness while we PUSH for improved care for PAL families - lots of shareable graphics here!

  • Other hashtags: #UnitedWePush #PregnancyAfterLoss #RainbowBaby

THANK YOU!

We couldn't tackle this ambitious goal without all of you! Your passionate support fuels our every step forward. This mountain of a goal to improve maternity care may seem impossible to climb, but together we have the power to create change in memory of all our babies gone too soon. They matter & we remember them with love as we push to save babies with our efforts.

Please help us spread the word & tell your family, friends & providers to participate by running/walking or donate to your team page!

THANK YOU for your dedication to ending preventable stillbirth & improving prenatal care. All our babies matter & deserve to be fought for! Enough is enough - change is here.
